Project Description

The overall objective of SEESI is to create an inclusive socio-economic landscape offering fast-track integration opportunities through the promotion of ‘in-community’ support as opposed to ‘out-community’ support, which currently slows down a refugees and humanitarian migrants’ integration and labour market entry by at least 9 months or until they learn enough of their host country’s language to gain employment – which for some could be never. SEESI aims to revolutionise the integration process in European states through a ‘Life skills before Language’ strategic approach (a methodology which will ensure that refugees and humanitarian migrants also have the opportunity to develop their skills, knowledge, and wider competences from day one of entering their new host countries).
