Project Description

The overall goal of the LEXOP project was to build a multidisciplinary network of operators involved, at different levels, in fighting intimate partner violence, in order to provide a coordinated response by the institutions, so that they can work together to protect the victims and persecute the offenders.

The main objective of this project was twofold:

Firstly, a high-level strategizing cross-training addressed to law enforcement, police operators, prosecutors, judicial operators, forensic professionals and lawyers. The final vademecum, as a result of the training sessions, is an effective tool, designed specifically for target groups.

Secondly, the project compared the already existing networks and used this advantage in order to implement a shared protocol. The indirect beneficiaries were both the judicial system and all the real or potential victims.
