Project Description

DigEm* was an innovative digital empowering project that used a creative approach to teaching basic ICT skills and provided an effective entry route for learners who were disengaged with the learning process, or who were unconfident with new technologies.

DigEm developed literacy and communication skills by using creative tools and media techniques for the creation of story ideas, focused on people’s own lives, through story-telling circles, drama, photography, music, video clips and narrative. The project introduced alternative methods for teaching ICT skills for groups that have been excluded or reluctant to join the digital society.

This project was coordinated by DIMITRA.

DigEm has been selected as a Best Practice project in the ‘Erasmus+: Building on Experience, Best Practices in ICT for learning’   within Key Activity 3 – ICT for Learning Multilateral Projects guide published by EACEA
