The online European Conference on “The evidence for the relevance of Vocational Training programmes – learners’ destinations and employers’ satisfaction with what they have learned” is taking place on Monday, April 26th, 10:00 – 13:30 CET. It is organised by DIMITRA Educational Organization and Folk University of Sweden and features key representatives from the European Commission.

Representatives from the European Commission, the European Training Foundation, Cedefop, EQAVET experts, as well as Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Sector Associations, the Greek and Swedish National Reference Points for Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training in the European Network –EOPEP and the National Agency for Higher Vocational Education respectively – representatives from the Hellenic Hoteliers Federation, the banking sector (European Banking & Financial Services Training Association), and the facilities sector from Italy and Sweden, Sweden’s Folkuniversitetet as well as  EQAΤVET experts from Greece, Italy, Sweden, the UK, etc.

The conference will take place in English, while Greek, Arabic, Russian and Italian interpretation will be also available, so that all interested stakeholders, businesses, VET providers, trainers and trainees have the opportunity to learn about the latest developments and trends in VET quality assurance at European level.

The conference is the final event of the QSE-VET project that was realised by Folkuniversitetet (project Coordinator), DIMITRA Educational Organisation from Greece, FACO from Denmark, EFFEBI Association from Italy, and Rinova from the United Kingdom. The project was developed under the European Erasmus+ Programme, the European Commission programme for education, training, youth and sport, aimed at enhancing skills and employability, as well as modernising education, training and youth systems, in all areas of Lifelong Learning.
