
VOUCHER Program for 50,000 Unemployed Individuals in Green Skills
Continuing Vocational Training Programs for the Upskilling of Green Skills for 50,000 Unemployed Individuals
The objective of the action is to provide theoretical upskilling and reskilling training in green skills (Voucher) to 50,000 unemployed individuals aged over 18.
The action will be implemented through the training voucher system and will include:
- Theoretical training with a duration of 80 hours (12 hours in-person, 48 hours synchronous distance learning, and 20 hours asynchronous learning).
- Certification of knowledge and skills in the training subject area.
- Total training allowance of up to €400 (€5 per hour of training, gross).
The action is implemented within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” with funding from the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
Right to Participate
Unemployed individuals who meet at least the following minimum criteria are eligible:
- They are registered in the Digital Registry of DYPA, regardless of whether they receive unemployment benefits.
- They are over 18 years of age.
- They are graduates of at least compulsory education, as defined by the relevant legislation.
It should be noted that beneficiaries must not have participated in any other training program implemented under the same action (Action 16913 “SUB 2: Horizontal upskilling/reskilling programs to targeted populations”), within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0,” funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
Furthermore, as defined in Law 4921/2022 (Government Gazette 75/A/18.04.2022), the beneficiary may not attend or have attended a training program in the same subject area during the last two (2) years prior to the publication of this Call.
All the above supporting documents must be uploaded to the dedicated website https://www.voucher.gov.gr, under the section:
“Submission of Beneficiaries’ Participation Form – Continuing Vocational Training Programs for the Upskilling of Green Skills for 50,000 Unemployed Individuals.”
Application Submission Procedure
It is carried out exclusively online. Each interested individual who wishes to register in the Beneficiary Registry and participate in this Program must:
- Fill out and electronically submit the “Participation Application” via https://voucher.gov.gr/, by logging in with TAXISNET credentials.
- Attach the following supporting documents to verify the information provided in the Participation Application, under penalty of exclusion. These documents must also be presented to the selected training provider after program selection:
● A valid copy of the Identity Card or Passport (for identification purposes).
● A copy of at least a Compulsory Education graduation certificate or higher qualification, including an official translation and recognition decision if the degree was obtained abroad.
● A Solemn Declaration submitted via gov.gr stating that:
Under my sole responsibility and fully aware of the penalties provided for in paragraph 6 of Article 22 of Law 1599/1986, I hereby declare that:
a. I am not attending and have not attended any other training program implemented under the same action (Action 16913 “SUB 2: Horizontal upskilling/reskilling programs to targeted populations”) within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
b. I am not attending and have not attended a training program in the same subject area during the last two (2) years prior to the publication of this Call.
c. I am not attending and will not attend any other training program funded by European Union resources that has a timetable which overlaps, in whole or in part, with the training program for which I am submitting this application.
Additional supporting documents (e.g., English language proficiency certificate)
Implementation Method
The implementation of the continuing training programs will consist of 12 hours of in-person training and distance learning (teletraining), which will include at least 48 hours of synchronous distance learning and up to 20 hours of asynchronous distance learning.
Training Allowance
The trainee will receive a training allowance of up to €400 (€5 per hour of training, gross).
