Lifelong learning is any learning process throughout a person’s life that aims at acquiring or developing knowledge, skills, and competences, which contribute to the formation of a well-rounded personality, the individual’s professional integration and advancement, social cohesion, and social, economic, and cultural development.
DIMITRA Educational Organization, drawing on international experience, the most modern educational methods, and technological innovations, designs and implements lifelong learning programs addressed to the entire active population of the country. These programs incorporate anti-discrimination policies to support vulnerable social groups.
To this end, it has developed an extensive network of partnerships with many key institutions across European Union countries, aiming to exchange experience and know-how in training-related matters, promote entrepreneurship, and foster equal opportunities in employment—thus offering a European perspective to those who seek it.
To date, our organization has trained more than 33,000 individuals across Greece, delivering over 8,000,000 person-hours of training.
