
PROGRAM START upon submission of KAΥAS
Continuing Vocational Training Programs for 50,000 Unemployed Beneficiaries in Digital and Green Skills and Financial Literacy Skills
The action will be implemented through the training voucher system and will include:
- Total training allowance of €1,000 (€5 per hour of training)
- Theoretical training with a total duration of 200 hours (70 hours in-person, 70 hours synchronous distance learning, and 60 hours asynchronous learning)
- Certification of knowledge and skills in the training subject area.
Purpose
The purpose of the project is to upgrade the knowledge and skills of unemployed individuals and/or provide their reskilling, within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0,” funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
Specifically, the project focuses on the acquisition and/or updating/upgrading of beneficiaries’ knowledge and skills, as well as obtaining relevant certification, in order to meet the current demands of the labor market in economically growing sectors.
Right to Participate
Unemployed individuals who meet at least the following criteria are eligible to participate:
1. They are registered in the Digital Registry of DYPA, regardless of whether they are receiving unemployment benefits.
2. They are over 18 years of age.
3. They are graduates of at least compulsory education, as defined in the relevant legislation (Law 4871/2021, taking into account Presidential Decree 739/1980).
Beneficiaries must not have attended any other training program implemented under the same action (Action 16913 “SUB 2: Horizontal upskilling/reskilling programs to targeted populations”) within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0,” funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
In addition, as defined in Law 4921/2022 (Government Gazette 75/A/18.04.2022), beneficiaries may not attend or have attended a training program in the same subject area during the last two (2) years prior to the publication of this Call.
Application Submission Procedure
The application is submitted electronically via the website https://www.voucher.gov.gr using TAXISNET credentials, along with the upload of the following supporting documents:
- A valid copy of the Identity Card or Passport
- A copy of at least a Compulsory Education graduation certificate or a higher qualification, including an official translation and recognition decision if the degree was obtained abroad
- A Solemn Declaration via gov.gr addressed to DYPA, stating that:
Under my sole responsibility and fully aware of the penalties provided for in paragraph 6 of Article 22 of Law 1599/1986, I hereby declare that:
a. I am not attending and have not attended any other training program implemented under the same action (Action 16913 “SUB 2: Horizontal upskilling/reskilling programs to targeted populations”) within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0,” funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
b. I am not attending and have not attended a training program in the same subject area during the last two (2) years prior to the publication of this Call.
c. I am not attending and will not attend any other training program funded by European Union resources that has a timetable which overlaps, in whole or in part, with the training program for which I am submitting this application.
Implementation Method
The implementation of the continuing training programs will include at least 35% of the total program hours delivered through in-person training, and the remaining hours through distance learning (teletraining), consisting of at least 35% synchronous distance learning and up to 30% asynchronous distance learning.
