Description
New Approved Vocational Training Program – New legislation for the exercise of the professional activity of operating Construction Machinery with a total engine power of more than ten (10) kW and a maximum lifting capacity of up to two thousand five hundred (2,500) kg. A prior license or notification is no longer required, and the relevant professional activity can be exercised freely, provided that the interested parties have completed a vocational training program.
This applies to the following cases:
2.7 Lifting forklift machinery (e.g., type CLARK, etc.) and other types of all systems and operating modes (excluding electric-powered ones), and
2.8 Electric-powered lifting forklift machinery (e.g., type CLARK, etc.) of all types.
Target Audience
The program targets:
all those who wish to work as heavy machinery operators
employees who want to upgrade their skills
unemployed individuals who wish to enter the labor market with specialization in heavy machinery operation
business owners who wish to train their staff
Benefits
Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to practice their professional activity freely and will be qualified to operate, efficiently, correctly, productively, and above all, safely, the Worksite Machinery referred to in cases 2.7 and 2.8 of Group B, Specialty 2.
Participation Documents Required
a) Application for participation in the vocational training program
b) Photocopy of identity card or passport (for non-EU citizens, also residence or work permit)
c) Certified copy of diploma
d) Photocopy of at least a category B driving license
e) Health certificate from a public institution, for physical integrity (from a pathologist or orthopedist or general practitioner), for hearing (from an ENT specialist), and for vision (from an ophthalmologist)
f) Solemn declaration according to article 8 of Law 1599/83 stating:
i) That the submitted documents/information are accurate and true
ii) Their relevant Region, namely the Region corresponding to the address of professional establishment or permanent residence

Duration
The program will be implemented in person and its total duration is 72 hours.
It includes:
a) Theoretical training: 12 hours
b) Practical training: 60 hours
Cost
The participation cost amounts to €650.
Certification
Successful assessment of both the theoretical and practical components leads to the awarding of a “Certificate of Successful Completion of Vocational Training Program.”

∗ Theoretical Part: A specialized mechanical engineering instructor will provide you with comprehensive training on construction machinery (M.E.), covering technical specifications, safety regulations, maintenance, and best practices. At the same time, you will be thoroughly prepared for the theoretical exams, ensuring a complete understanding of the subject.
∗ Practical Part: A certified instructor with a valid construction machinery (M.E.) operator’s license will guide you in the correct and safe use of the machines, tailoring the training to real working conditions. Using modern systems and simulations, you will learn to apply the traffic code and safety measures for both yourself and the equipment. Additionally, you will receive targeted preparation for the practical exams, helping you gain the necessary confidence and skills.
