The project «Training of Travel Agency Executives» with MIS 5035194, commissioned by the Panhellenic Federation of Travel Agencies, was implemented by “DIMITRA” Educational Consulting S.A. The services involved the implementation of training and certification programs in knowledge and skills aimed at private sector employees, delivered by a single contractor. Through the training programs—each with a duration of 80 hours—on the subjects “Tourism Representative,” “Travel Agency Employee,” and “Office Automation Applications Operator,” as well as the certification of these knowledge and skills, 1,273 employees in the private sector will benefit.
The aim of the action is for the beneficiaries (employees) to acquire additional knowledge and skills—beyond those required for their current profession—that will have an immediate and positive impact on enhancing their professional competence. Each participant received a training allowance of €400. The program was implemented via Teletraining (both synchronous and asynchronous).
The project was funded by the European Union (European Social Fund) and by national resources through the Public Investment Program (PIP).
