GreenComp School – Press Release no5

The GreenComp School project has reached a decisive milestone following the 5th Transnational Project Meeting in Perugia, Italy. The consortium, led by DIMITRA Education & Consulting, has officially transitioned from the development phase to a large-scale European Pilot Phase. Running from November 2025 to January 2026, this stage brings innovative sustainability tools directly into classrooms to empower teachers, students, and parents across all partner countries.
A major highlight of this phase is the launch of the GreenComp School E-Learning Platform. Built on Moodle, the platform hosts 24 structured courses—12 for university students and aspiring teachers and 12 for VET teachers—featuring interactive modules and assessment tools. To ensure these new skills are recognized, the project has also integrated a Micro-credentials system, providing formal acknowledgment of sustainability competences aligned with European standards. This ensures that the “Sustainability Mindset” fostered today will have a lasting professional and academic impact for years to come.
