Description:
The Microteaching Workshop is implemented by the educational organization “DIMITRA” and includes advisory sessions as well as a microteaching lab, aiming to provide practice in designing and delivering microteaching sessions, and in familiarizing participants with the procedures followed in the certification exams of the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (E.O.P.P.E.P.).
Target Group:
It is addressed to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria to participate in the E.O.P.P.E.P. certification exams for educational competence, in accordance with Law 4386/2016 (Government Gazette A’/83/11-5-2016), but who require practice in designing and delivering microteaching sessions, as well as in the procedures followed during the certification exams of the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (E.O.P.P.E.P.).
Benefits:
Upon completion of the workshop, participants are prepared for the design and delivery of microteaching sessions, as well as for the certification exams of educational competence conducted by E.O.P.P.E.P. (National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance).
Thematic Units:
The Workshop will take place over five (5) in-person training sessions, with a total duration of 35 hours, covering the following content and duration per session:
- 1st Training Session (6 hours): Theoretical Framework of Adult Education & the Role of the Adult Trainer / Characteristics of Adult Learners / Group Dynamics
- 2nd Training Session (6 hours): Educational Design Methodology / Teaching Techniques / Teaching Tools & Space / Lesson Plan Design
- 3rd Training Session (7 hours): Microteaching Design – Presentation of examples from pilot recorded microteaching sessions
- 4th & 5th Training Sessions (8 hours each): Microteaching Presentations and Feedback. Assignment development in areas aligned with the final goal, which is the design and preparation of a 20-minute microteaching presentation (the subject of assessment in the E.O.P.P.E.P. practical certification exam).
Duration:
The Workshop will be delivered in person with a total duration of 35 hours. It includes:
- **Advisory sessions: 12 hours**
- **Microteaching workshop: 23 hours**
Cost:
The participation cost is €130.00
Payment Methods: Upon submission of the participation application, a 50% deposit of the total amount is required. The remaining balance must be paid by the end of the program.
