ADULT TRAINERS EDUCATION

The “Adult Trainers Education” program leads directly to the educational competence certification exams of the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (E.O.P.P.E.P.), in accordance with Law 4386/2016 (Government Gazette A’/83/11-5-2016).

It grants the right to directly participate in the educational competence evaluation exams for prospective Adult Trainers, even for those who do not possess the required 150 hours of teaching experience (Law 2844/2012, par. 17, dd).

The training program is delivered by the DIMITRA Educational Organization, in collaboration with the Chamber of Magnesia, and constitutes a comprehensive educational process designed to ensure success in the E.O.P.P.E.P. certification exams for Adult Trainers in Non-Formal Education.

The program is aimed at individuals who are interested in working in the field of adult education, and specifically at those who wish to become certified as adult trainers by participating directly in the E.O.P.P.E.P. certification exams, even without prior teaching experience (i.e., without fulfilling the required criterion of 150 hours of teaching experience, as stated in Law 4386/16, Article 67).

It is designed to help participants gain additional merit-based points for inclusion in the teaching staff of post-secondary and adult education institutions (e.g., IEK, SDE, KDVM), enhance their teaching competencies, and enrich them with modern techniques and methods in adult education.

Upon completion of the program, participants will:

• Be eligible to directly participate in the **educational competence certification exams** of the **National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (E.O.P.P.E.P.)**, in accordance with Law 4386/2016 (Government Gazette A’/83/11-5-2016).
• Be guided in the **effective design and delivery of microteaching** aligned with the structure of the E.O.P.P.E.P. exams.
• **Increase their merit-based scoring** in public calls for instructors in IEK/ΔΣΕΚ/SDE/DKDVM/e-KDVM.
• Be registered in the **Trainers Registry of the Chamber of Magnesia** (a certified public institution).

The educational content of the program follows the E.O.P.P.E.P. Question Bank and consists of the following thematic areas:

• Modern pedagogical approaches
• Utilization of group dynamics in adult education
• Design and evaluation of educational activities
• Microteaching presentations and interview process

The training material is provided in both printed and digital format.

The program will be implemented through the following methods:

a) Blended Learning Method, which includes a combination of in-person training sessions and distance learning through an e-learning platform. The total duration of the program is 175 hours (35 hours of in-person training & 140 hours of asynchronous distance learning).

b) Distance Learning (asynchronous e-learning only). The total duration of the program is 150 hours.

The participation cost is:

a) €350.00 for the blended learning program (175 hours)
b) €200.00 for the distance learning program (150 hours)

Payment Methods:
Upon submission of the participation application, a 50% deposit of the total amount is required. The remaining balance must be paid by the end of the program.
