GreenComp School – Newsletter no1

As part of the GreenComp School project, we are launching an initiative to transform sustainability from theory into classroom practice. Based on the European Commission’s GreenComp framework, the project develops the knowledge and attitudes necessary for learners to act with empathy and responsibility toward the planet.
Through a collaborative we are creating a micro-credentialed training programme for primary teachers. This ecosystem promotes inquiry-based activities across disciplines—such as math, art, and science—to instill a sustainable mindset in children from an early age. By hosting Focus Groups with parents and experts, we are validating these tools to ensure they meet the real-world needs of the school community.
