Description

An integrated package of counseling, training, education, and certification activities for up to 206 beneficiaries who were laid off from electrical equipment manufacturing companies in the Attica region during the period from 01/04/2021 to 01/10/2021.

The project’s actions aim to help participants acquire new, specialized professional skills and improve existing ones, provide support in finding new employment opportunities, and assist in the development of new entrepreneurial activities.

The project activities include:

A. Career counseling (20 individual sessions).

Action A includes the design and implementation of 20 individual career counseling sessions for each beneficiary of the project. During these sessions, the needs, qualifications, and skills of each participant are thoroughly analyzed and clearly defined, while the individual is also referred to the subsequent actions of the project. Upon completion of the sessions, each beneficiary’s individual action plan is finalized, capturing their unique characteristics and shaping the framework for their professional development and maturity.

B1. Training in digital skills

Action B1 concerns the provision of training services in digital skills, with a total duration of up to one hundred and twenty (120) hours. The main objective of this action is to enhance the ability to use digital applications, understand and utilize new technologies and tools, as well as to certify the acquired knowledge.

B2. Specialized Vocational Training / Education

The objective of Action B.2 is to provide specialized training (e.g., specialized course modules, vocational education and training leading to certification, professional license, etc.) or specific education (e.g., language course modules, study cycles, professional driving license, etc.), delivered by partner educational institutions.

B3. Two-Year Study Programs

Action B3 refers to two-year programs or courses of study for beneficiaries, provided by educational institutions. Particular emphasis and priority are given to obtaining academic degrees from higher education institutions (undergraduate degree, postgraduate specialization diploma – Levels 6, 7, and 8 EQF).

C. Support for Business Establishment.

Action C concerns the funding of up to twelve (12) beneficiaries, with the aim of supporting them in their efforts to create new entrepreneurial activities. The beneficiaries of this specific action were identified and developed their business plans within the framework of Vocational Counseling, while the management of Action C is carried out by the Managing Authority.
