class=\"epidotoumena-block-content\"><\/div>\t\r\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The prevention and reduction of unemployment through the upgrading of unemployed individuals\u2019 professional knowledge and skills, as well as their placement in subsidized employment positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Beneficiaries<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Unemployed individuals registered in the DYPA unemployment registry, recipients of the Minimum Guaranteed Income (MGI), and homeless persons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligible Employers<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Private businesses and, in general, employers in the private sector engaged in regular economic activity and operating in all regions of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The duration of the training is set at eighty (80) hours, and the duration of the employment is twelve (12) months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Subsidy<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 The subsidy for businesses amounts to <strong>100% of the total cost<\/strong> (salary and social security contributions), i.e., <strong>\u20ac1,118 per month<\/strong> (<strong>\u20ac13,416 in total<\/strong>).<br>\u2022 If the business opts for the state aid scheme under the General Block Exemption Regulation (GBER), the subsidy covers <strong>50% of the total cost<\/strong> (salary and contributions).<br>\u2022 The subsidy includes <strong>Christmas and Easter bonuses<\/strong> as well as the <strong>vacation allowance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PROCEDURE<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2713 Businesses submit their application electronically via <strong>gov.gr<\/strong> at the following address:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.gr\/ipiresies\/epikheirematike-drasterioteta\/apaskholese-prosopikou\/summetokhe-epikheireseon-ergodoton-se-programmata-katartises-anergon.\">gov.gr\/ipiresies\/epikheirematike-drasterioteta\/apaskholese-prosopikou\/summetokhe-epikheireseon-ergodoton-se-programmata-katartises-anergon.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2713 Businesses select the applicable state aid scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2713 Businesses define the job positions, specialties, and required qualifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2713 DYPA verifies that the business meets the eligibility criteria by evaluating the application within <strong>10 working days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2713 DYPA refers candidates to the business based on the job requirements, within <strong>5 working days<\/strong> from the issuance of the approval\/funding decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2713 The business makes a preselection from among the candidates within <strong>10 working days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2713 DYPA informs the preselected unemployed individual by any appropriate means within <strong>3 days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2713 The preselected candidate fills in an <strong>online participation form<\/strong>, selects and attends a <strong>training program<\/strong> of their choice (e.g., office employee or sales assistant), and then participates in <strong>certification exams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2713 Upon certification, the business proceeds with the hiring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information: <a class=\"\"
