The guide was developed and included proposals for journalists and other media professionals on the presentation of Minority Groups and diversity issues. It also included proposals for Media organizations on human resources emphasizing on diversity.

The research was published by the Association of Residents of Agia Sophia Dorp -Municipality of Echedorou – AGISO in co-operation with the Greek Helsinki Monitor Center (EPSE) and the Roma ERRC – European Roma Rights Center. It examined the living conditions of Roma in Greece and the discrimination they face in their everyday lives.

The publication is a report by the European Committee against Racism and Intolerance (ECRΙ) for the year 2003. It is based on the reports and activities of the Hellenic Helsinki Monitor Centre Structure. The report is a full description of the racism problems in Greece as well as of the important role the Media plays in forming public opinion. 

Τhe research examined the ways sensitive social groups are treated by the Greek and foreign Media. It was carried out by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and was distributed in Universities across the country as well as Media Organizations.

The handbook includes 90 titles, reports and researches in Greek and English. It has details on of the publication and also includes the book’s photograph and a short description. It is intended for journalists, Journalism Schools, Universities and Vocational Centers.

EQUAL – DREAM project

 This is a manual, which includes a business plan on the structure, operation and the aims (quality and quantity) of Anti-Racism Support Structures. Those Structures can operate separately or in the framework of other support structures for sensitive groups. The communication strategies with the Media are emphasized on the manual.
