Short description:
European Advisors’ Association PLinEU, is a non-profit organization specialised in training and counselling addressed to women and women’s organisations. The organisation was set up in 2003. The projects realised by the organisation have focused on work - life balance, equal opportunities and capacity building of female organizations. The association has a staff of experienced trainers and career advisors that give trainings among others on breaking gender stareotypes. AMECOOP, Women Association of Cooperatives Managers was constituted in 1989 in Madrid (Spain). AMECOOP works from 20 year in the suport and promotion of women. Short description:
Donna & Sviluppo is an association of women experts in various issues, that works since 1987 guiding women in recognising themselves as active subjects of local development. The association works mainly on a national scale, and on women’s enterprising, having developed its own model of intervention, based on an integrated system of actions (information, guidance, education, training, accompaniment, and consultancy) that has been best developed in business incubators. “Donna e Sviluppo” has organised and participated in several seminars, events (national and international), courses and conferences on equal opportunities matters, diversity management in economic environments, creation of enterprises among disadvantaged subjects. It has managed projects and networks at international level in European union, such as WITEC in the program COMETT-ILO- DONNA for DGV, Incubator and Business Growth in the program NOW, and so on) and in cooperation programs in Middle East and eastern countries. Associazione Donna e Sviluppo is now participating (2007-2009) in another Gruntvig project (Ge-Opener) on fighting gender stereotypes in education of young people, and is strongly motivated in reinforcing its European network. Donna e Sviluppo is one of the promoters of Patto Territoriale del Miglio d’Oro (Territorial Pact among 4 municipalities and others local stakeholder in the vesuvian area nearby Naples) This present project, being focused on men crisis, is comprised in our field of research on gender equality, but complementary to our habitual area of work, which has been more focused on the feminine side of the story. It is a great opportunity for our association to develop a complementary part of our research within this project.

Short description:
Since 1989 “DIMITRA” I.T.D., as a private certified vocational training institute, has been active in the organization, implementation and scientific supervision of vocational training programs. It has training centers in four (4) major cities in Greece and has offered its services to more than 15,000 people to date. It provides professional training to participants (unemployed, socially sensitive groups and employees of the private or public sector), aiming to the acquisition of necessary abilities, skills and expertise for their promotion and integration into the labour market and the society in general. Within the framework of the needs emerging form training courses “DIMITRA” is linking vocational training to the labor market with on the job training provision for trainees to acquire working experience. Moreover it supports trainees with new employment opportunities and provides information and guidance on issues related to entrepreneurship. "DIMITRA” I.T.D. has been implementing European programmes and initiatives either as a coordinator or as a partner of various intra-state organisations aiming at conveying know-how to education-training, exchanging know-how on educational know-how and exchanging trainers and trainees within the framework of programmes and the development of common infrastructure to support innovative training programmes. These programmes support the development of equal opportunities for men and women, provide training for disabled people, underprivileged or sensitive groups and education and development of professional opportunities for young people. "DIMITRA” I.T.D. is experienced in running large partnership projects, like the EQUAL "CommediaNet". In our capacity as the CommediaNet leader we have developed media tools and innovative training for marginalised groups, in formal and informal education settings and with disadvantaged communities. CommediaNet has been presented as an Equal winning story in 2008 at the “Powering a new Future: European Meeting on Social Innovation and Transnational Cooperation. The ESF Delivering the Lisbon Strategy” conference, organised by the European Commission, DG Employment.
