The fourth transnational meeting of the CERF project: Certification Standard for European Reference Framework Key Competences, was held on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th April 2013, in Stockholm, Sweden. The CERF European Project is coordinated by DIMITRA ITD, whereas, the Chamber of Larissa participates actively in the consortium as associated partner.
During this meeting, representatives from Sweden, Spain, UK, Cyprus and Greece, discussed about the CERF progress. Specifically, Mr. Papacharalambous as a representative of the Chamber of Larissa presented the activities of the Chamber and the necessity of the recognition of the certificate from the business world to upgrade the skills of the workforce and strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises at local level. Finally, the partnership planned the future activities and responsibilities of stakeholders in order to move the project in its final stage.
The CERF project: Certification Standard for European Reference Framework Key Competences is a two year Transfer of Innovation project which aims to develop a training Curricula and a complete Trainers Package for the ERF Key Competences. Based on its innovative character, the CERF project is aiming on the active involvement of the European labor market, in order to create a common language between citizen-workers and enterprises in the European knowledge society.
